The outside travel merchants provided on our web site is supplied for your pleasure to shop around. We know people like to evaluate alternatives (because we do) and our travel merchant links will give you that opportunity.
We have provided merchants for travel accessories too.
For a specific package, flight, cruise, or whatever, have the details handy. Let us know what dates you're looking for, the city of departure, how many people will be traveling, ages of any children traveling with you, what type of accommodations or cabin you're interested in--any information that will help us find just what you're looking for.
For electronic ticketing (e-ticketing) on airlines, your invoice will be sent via email or in the mail. Tickets that can not be issued as e-tickets will be mailed certified mail or registered mail. Last minute tickets that can't be e-ticketed and must be delivered quickly will be sent either overnight or Priority Mail. If you've purchased a vacation package, we will send your documents once they have arrived and been checked for accuracy, usually one to two weeks before departure. Please remember it is your responsibility to check your confirmation for any errors as soon as you receive it.
Airlines now require a government issued photo ID upon check-in. If you are leaving the country, make sure your passport is up to date or that you have a copy of your birth certificate with an official raised seal along with your government issued photo ID if you are traveling to a country that doesn't require a passport. It is the travelers responsibility to have proper proof of citizenship while traveling.
IMPORTANT!
Please check your documents upon receipt!
Changes to these documents cannot be completed 5 days after printing without an additional fee.
Other penalties and fees may apply due to FAA regulations.
Special Fares. Most discounted or special fares involve certain restrictions regarding changes in travel plans. Please be aware that changes in bookings may result in increased fare and/or cancellation penalties.
Check-In. Minimum of 60 minutes prior to departure for domestic flights and 2 hours for international. Be sure to allow extra time during peak holiday seasons.
Reconfirmation. Be sure to reconfirm your return reservations upon arrival at your destination or within 48 hours prior to domestic and 72 hours prior to international departures. Please note that all airline schedules are subject to change.
Overbooking. There is a slight chance that your airline may have overbooked a flight for which you have a confirmed reservation. If this is the case, rules provide that you may not be asked to give up your seat until airline personnel have offered compensation for volunteers willing to give up their reservations and insufficient volunteers have been found. With some exceptions, if you are asked to give up your seat involuntarily, you will be entitled to compensation if you are delayed substantially in reaching your final destination.
Your Ticket Has Value! If you change your ticket en route, insist that the remaining value of the original ticket be applied toward the cost of the new one. If the person doing the reticketing refuses your request, obtain a name or identification number and advise us of the circumstances upon your return. Keep all of your unused flight coupons, boarding passes, etc. If you apply for a fare adjustment, claim, or refund later, having these proofs of travel will save you considerable time and inconvenience.
Cancellation Insurance. We strongly recommend that you take out a policy when travelling on nonrefundable tickets or tickets subject to a cancellation penalty. Your policy will also provide increased protection in the event of an airline, tour operator, or cruise line bankruptcy.
Please Note: A Government-Issued Photo I.D. Is Required For All Air Travel. You must provide proof of U.S. citizenship or proper documentation for all travel out of the United States.
If you purchase your travel through the Go For It Travel Office (you contacted us and not booked through an affiliated merchant), let us know if you have any troubles, we may be able to help.
Make sure you visit Go For It Travel next time you're ready to travel!
